Komon Nuka (Defatted Rice Bran) 500g (1.1 lb)

Komon Nuka is one of the ingredients in Nori Paste - Japanese Rice Paste Resist. Its role is to reduce the elasticity of the mochiko rice flour in order to make the nori paste easier to handle.

Komon Nuka is defatted rice bran (also called rice polish powder). Take care not to confuse this with the regular rice bran easily found on the shelf of Asian food stores.
